This rare 1927 Hudson Essex Super Six
Limousine was built in this country for the
British market. it has survived because it
spent part of its life in a museum and underwent a very expensive restoration.
She has been beautifully restored in ivory
white with black wings and running boards.
The wooden spoked wheels are original
and the body is made of aluminium. The
brakes are operated by rods and the shoes
on the rear are external.
The 2200cc flat six engine is original and has
lots of power and the family trunk on the
back is dated around 1887.
The car has lots of room in the back and a
great deal of headroom to accommodate
the top hats worn at that time.
The interior is tastefully upholstered in blue
velour and is spacious enough to
accommodate the grandest of wedding dresses.
